Raindance AI Tutorial: Make and Post Your Video
A short tutorial for making a Raindance AI video: prepare photos, choose a scene, set the look, render, then add the sound and post on TikTok or Reels.
Last updated: 2026-10-07
This tutorial takes you from two photos on your phone to a posted Raindance video. Allow a few minutes, plus rendering time.
Before you start
You need:
- One photo per person in the video (one for solo scenes, two for the duet).
- A few credits. If you have none, see the credit packs.
- The Raindance sound available in TikTok or Reels.
Step 1: Prepare the photos
Good photos make the biggest difference.
- Face the camera, with the whole face and hairstyle visible.
- Use daylight or bright indoor light.
- Skip sunglasses, masks, heavy filters and motion blur.
- Use a photo of yourself or of someone who has agreed. No minors, celebrities or public figures.
- For the Full look option, pick a photo that shows the outfit you want.
Step 2: Choose a scene
Open the studio and select a scene. Each scene lists how many photos it needs and which person each slot plays. In the duet, photo 1 waits on the pier and photo 2 walks up and sings. The camera moves and timing come from the scene.
Step 3: Set the look
| Option | What it does | | ----------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- | | Face & hair | Uses your face and hair; the body and outfit stay as in the scene | | Full look | Also uses your body shape and clothes from the photo | | Standard | 480p, 8 seconds, vertical | | HD | 720p, 8 seconds, vertical |
The cost in credits is shown before you start. Both qualities are watermark-free.
Step 4: Render
Tick the consent box and press create. Rendering usually takes a few minutes. You can leave the page: the finished video waits in My videos. If a render fails, the credits come back automatically.
Step 5: Add the sound and post
- Download the MP4.
- In TikTok tap +, upload it, tap Add sound and search for "Raindance Dave Tems". In Reels use Add audio.
- Start the sound at the beginning, lower the clip's own volume and add a caption.
- Switch on the AI-generated content label and post.
For the classic opening, put your original photo first for about a second and cut to the video on the beat.
Fixing common problems
- The face looks off: retry with a sharper, front-facing, evenly lit photo.
- The wrong person sings in the duet: swap the two uploads.
- A photo is rejected: photos are screened before generation and no credits are used. Try another photo.
- The render failed: credits are refunded. Details are in the refund policy.
